Andrei "arT" Piovezan's charges outlasted the Flashpoint 2 runners-up in a three-map affair to progress in the lower bracket.
FURIA have eliminated OG from the BLAST Premier Fall Finals after a 2-1 victory in round one of the lower bracket. Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen’s squad end the year on a sour note after failing to build on their second-place finish in Flashpoint 2 just four days ago, while the Brazilian side will continue to battle for survival in the next round against the loser of the match between Vitality and Natus Vincere.
A positive 5-0 start on Inferno for OG was quickly flipped on its head as FURIA took control of their map pick for a dominant win (16-9). The European side came out on Mirage with a point to prove and shot into a 15-6 lead and survived a late comeback attempt to force a decider. After battling back and forth for the majority of Nuke, the Brazilian team tightened up their defence in the closing stages of the map to overcome OG 16-12.

A four-player B stack on the CT pistol set OG on a path to winning ways in the early stages of Inferno, but FURIA soon found their footing and eventually broke the streak to tie up the score 5-5. The European mixture’s defence failed to contain the Brazilian onslaught moving forward as arT and company rolled over OG for a 9-6 halftime lead.
Yuri "yuurih" Santos kicked off the second half with a crisp triple kill, with FURIA followed that up with the next round before OG responded with AK-47s in hand. yuurih stepped up yet again with another impactful 3K to keep FURIA in the driver’s seat as the Brazilian squad went on to promptly claim their map pick.
After losing the initial two rounds of Mirage, OG put up a commanding T side to string together an extensive streak for a 9-2 advantage, with Aleksib leading the charge for his side. However, FURIA managed to minimise the damage and picked up three of the remaining rounds to reduce the deficit to 5-10 at the half switch after an uninspiring start.
A Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt triple kill secured OG the CT pistol, and the European side pressed on to rapidly reach map point, but a magnificent 1v4 clutch from Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo kept FURIA alive by the skin of their teeth. The Brazilians hit a higher gear to mount a comeback and brought the score difference within two, but Aleksib’s men turned around a 3v4 disadvantage to edge over the line 16-13.

Nuke was left over to determine the victor between the two teams, with FURIA instantly responding to an opening-round loss with three of their own. OG moved ahead after a small period of success before yuurih took control and spearheaded his team to a 9-6 lead at the midway point.
The European squad wasted no time in levelling the score with blistering pace on the attacking side, but the Brazilians stabilised to tighten up their defence and pull ahead, with Henrique "HEN1" Teles coming alive to inflict massive damage on OG. With a strong economic advantage over their opponents, FURIA secured the final rounds for a 16-12 victory to eliminate OG from the tournament.
